Ride the Movies™ at Universal Studios® Singapore!

Located within the newly built Resort World® Sentosa in Singapore, the amazing new Universal Studios Singapore features 24 rides and attractions in seven themed zones with 18 of them created especially for Singapore. So prepare yourself to explore Asia's latest spectacular theme park!

Universal Studios have been able to draw on their experience with branches in the US (Hollywood, California, Orlando and Florida) and Japan (Osaka) for their new Singapore offering. The new Universal Studios Singapore combines the best elements from these already established parks and adds the world's first Far Far Away castle (from the world of Shrek) and the world's first Madagascar theme park ride as well as the world's first Universal Studios Sci-Fi zone!

The Seven Zones

  • Hollywood
    You'll feel as if you're really on the famous Hollywood strip and its iconic Walk of Fame with its dynamic architecture and palm trees down here. Try spotting your favourite celebrity! Don't forget to take a photo at the Broadway-style theatre which was modelled on the famous Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
  • New York
    Stroll the sidewalks of the world famous Big Apple and live the spirit of the dynamic New York city that you've seen in so many movies! Moreover, for that authentic Steven Spielberg experience, the Lights! Camera! Action special effects stage takes you behind the scenes of those expensive movie sets.
  • Sci-Fi City™
    Step into the future and experience the hi-tech world of the famous sci-fi series, Battlestar Galactica. You'll also be able to enjoy a ride on the awesome duelling coasters, which pit humans against Cylons in a battle to the death. Not recommended for those of a nervous disposition!
  • Ancient Egypt™
    Travel back in time to the golden age of Egyptian civilisation and to those mysterious Pharaoh's tombs. The exhilarating Revenge of the Mummy™ ride really shouldn't be missed, however be prepared for a wild and crazy trip!
  • The Lost World™
    Jurassic Park fans will be delighted with this part of Universal Studios Singapore as it features the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure™, which is based on Mr. Speilberg's box office smash dinosaur adventure films. You'll also find Waterworld™ down here, a death defying stunt show based on the movie Waterworld that promises to be great fun for the whole family.
  • Far Far Away
    Young and old alike have found tremendous enjoyment in the Shrek movies and this part of Universal Studios Singapore promises to be a real treat for people of all ages. Inspired by the world of DreamWorks Animation, this section of the park features the amazing Shrek 4-D mini movie!
  • Madagascar
    Take a journey into the heart of this incredible island which lies just off the coast of Africa and join the wild animals of Madagascar as they get transferred from the New York City Zoo! The best thing on offer in this part of the park is probably the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure action show, which should have the little ones' cups overflowing with joy.
Eateries
There are quite a few places to eat spread around this superlative theme park. For a simple burger and coke, Mel's Drive-In™ (from the movie American Graffiti) can be found in the Hollywood zone, whilst the New York section of the park contains KT's Grill and Louie's NY Pizza Parlour™, which serves those authentically Big Apple pizza slices! The Oasis Spice Café is located in the Ancient Egypt zone and offers al fresco meals and Gloria's Snack Shack™ and Casa Del Wild™ down at the Madagascar zone both cook up some tasty bites.
Hotels
When planning a visit to Universal Studios Singapore™, you should consider a luxurious stay at the Resorts World® Sentosa and its impressive selection of five star hotels that aim to cater for all comers. Families can stay at the fun and vibrant Festive Hotel which offers separate chambers for parents and loft beds for kids, whilst the Hard Rock Hotel Singapore is for the hip travellers who enjoy staying somewhere with a bit of street wise attitude. Alternatively, for a little coolness and simplicity, Hotel Michael's artistic ambiance should make for an enjoyable stay.
