Bali
has always been a favorite tourism destination for foreigners and local
tourists. It is not only well known for its beautiful beaches, wonderful
culture and irreplaceable art, but also for the fashion. Each year, Bali
Fashion Week (BFW) draws enthusiasm from many tourists. This year the
BFW will be held on 24th – 30th August and headlining 'Fashion
Meets Nature' as its theme.
The choice of its theme aims to show Bali's support to fight Global Warming and make a better environment. This is inspired by The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali last year. Like the previous year, the 2008 BFW will feature overseas designers from Korea, Philippine, Hong Kong, and India. This year participating designers will present clothing made from natural materials.
