On November 24-26, Sekolah Pelita Harapan will present the timeless Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical "The Sound of Music" at Teater Tanah Airku, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.

The Performing Arts Department at Sekolah Pelita Harapan produces a major musical every 2 years. The purpose is to showcase the wonderful talents of all students from Kindergarten to Year 12. This year, they have chosen to perform The Sound of Music as it is a musical that needs no introduction to almost everybody. It is universally loved and has been a favorite of many people, for many years.

With a cast of approximately 50 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. and a chamber orchestra of 30 students, the show promises to be quite and event.
